Most people come to the session feeling frustrated and exhausted. They know exactly what they want to change and have often tried everything they can think of. Still, they find themselves back in the same place, wondering why knowing better has not been enough.
Some people arrive nervous. Others are skeptical. Many worry that they will have to share every painful detail, give up control or somehow be “good” at hypnosis. You will not. You only need to show up and be willing to have an honest conversation.
When you sit down with me, you will not be treated like a diagnosis or a problem that needs to be fixed. I will listen to what you say, the words you use, the places you hesitate and the moments when something changes in your face, your voice or your body. I am very good at seeing the connections that are difficult to see when you are standing in the middle of them.
I will ask questions that make you question what you know and shift your beliefs at the subconscious level. I tell you stories that help your mind make new connections and gently challenge the beliefs that have been keeping the problem in place. There will be conversation, quiet moments, laughter and sometimes tears. You can keep your eyes open, close them or stare off into the distance. You remain awake, aware and in control throughout the session.
I do not rely on one technique or follow a script. I use everything I know and follow what you give me. I often say that I throw everything but the kitchen sink at the problem—especially during the first session—because I want to give your mind every opportunity to find a way through.
Some people leave feeling lighter. Others feel calm, tired, surprised or quietly aware that something has shifted. The work continues after you leave, which is why I ask you to rest for an hour and give your mind space to process.
Over the days and weeks that follow, you begin noticing what is different. The thought does not carry the same weight. The urge is quieter. Your body responds differently. Something that once felt automatic begins to feel like a choice.
That is where the magic happens.
